Brain is a very crucial part of the human body. It is the brain who is the center of nervous system. Everyone wants to invent new things, to have creative ideas. But for that you need to increase your brain power. Following are some of the ways that can help you in boosting your brain power:

Physical exercise: Exercising helps in increasing the mind power. Exercising helps in formation of the blood cells and also in strengthening the connections between them which results in boosting brain power.

Stimulate your brain: Try to use your brain as much as you can. This will make your brain sharp. Some of the ways that can help you to stimulate your mind include solving puzzles, playing games, and reading books, magazines, travelling, dancing, doing the calculations yourself and thus ditching the calculator.

Sleep: Sleep plays a very important role in the development of brain. The reason behind this is that sleeping helps in the formation of new blood cells in brain. Sleep makes the place where the memory is placed, highly active and helps in shifting the memory that is short term to the memory that is long term. Even a small nap of 45 minutes in daytime will help you in boosting your memory and remembering the things, but before that the things should have been learnt well.

Interact with people: Interacting with people is also a mental exercise. This will not only help in stimulating your brain but will also keep your brain sharp because dealing with people is really challenging.

Manage Stress: Managing stress plays a crucial role in one’s life. Stress is one thing we can’t get rid of. So it’s better to manage it. The ways with which you can get rid of stress are looking into the problems as opportunities, getting a massage, doing yoga, meditation and others.

Laugh: Laughing is the best medicine to stimulate your mind. This decreases the stress and thus improves memory.

Healthy diet: A healthy breakfast is very helpful in stimulating the brain as it improves the concentration level, learning ability, reaction time and memory. For healthy brain, omega fatty acids also play a crucial role. To improve short term memory loss problem, blueberries have proved to be very good. Vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, brussels sprout are also very beneficial in boosting your brain.
